Forge a Full-Tang Blade (Runs Quarterly, Two Day Class)

Our “Hardest” blade. This is a metallurgy pun.

Yes, you get to oil quench this

In this two-day class, you will learn how to create a knife with a sharpened, polished, and hardened full-tang blade.

This class is perfect for those with previous blacksmithing experience who are ready to tackle a challenging project. Guided by our skilled instructors you'll immerse yourself in the art of knife making, including tapering, beveling, sanding, heat treating and sharpening. Working with 1084 steel, you will forge a small blade, heat treat it and assemble it with brass or copper pins and hardwood scales of your choice. This class is available as a custom class if three people request it. Add your custom class request here.
