Signature Handle Pull

This Made to Order handle/pull is forged from solid bronze.

Forged in Richmond, CA by Clay and Steel (Brass also available.)

Each piece is hammered, shaped and patinaed by hand in our small shop. This pull is good for gates, large cabinets and small doors. Every item by Clay and Steel is made to order.

The Quality

Our hardware is forged from solid brass of exceptional quality and meticulously hand hammered, ensuring that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. The hammered texture adds a beautiful touch to any home decor. Moreover, every component is customizable, with a wide range of patinas available. Brass, known for its resistance to rust, is suitable for all environments. By default, each piece is waxed instead of lacquered, creating a living finish that will develop a richer patina over time. Our pulls can be easily brightened or refinished as desired. The use of a wax finish also allows us to avoid the use of plastic in our products.

Since each part is made to order, we minimize waste resulting from overproduction in our shop. This approach ensures that we can provide environmentally conscious craftsmanship.

When you purchase our hardware, you are supporting a small business. I take pride in employing talented artists and providing them with fair wages. It also gives me the opportunity to pass on the rare artisanal trade of blacksmithing to future generations. My shop serves as a hub for other blacksmiths, fostering a community and allowing the art to endure.
