Clay and Steel is proud of first-time blacksmiths. You want to hit metal, we want metal hit.

We do the safety thing pretty hard at the beginning of class. You’ll get to know our shop, our rules, and how we keep each other safe. You’ll be given safety gear and forging lessons after. Here are a couple pages that go over other things you may expect. Preparing for Class | About our Classes

If you want to take an “easy” class we recommend either a Bracelet Class (sleek and gorgeous!) or the Bronze Spoon Class (makes a great gift!)
